There are two ways to display author profiles in your theme: App Block and App Embed. Choose the one that fits your theme and the placement you need.
This method adds the author profile as a section in the theme editor. You can drag and drop it anywhere on the page, giving you full control over the layout — just like any other section.
We recommend this method if you're using an OS 2.0-compatible theme.
This method automatically inserts the author profile into the body area of articles, pages, or products. Turn it on from the "App Embeds" section in the theme editor, then enter the CSS class name of the element where you want the profile to appear and select a position (above, below, first, or last).
Use this method if you're on a legacy theme, or if you're on an OS 2.0 theme but can't place the App Block exactly where you want it.
