Display Author on Blog Posts

Before enabling the app, add an App Block or App Embed to the article template in the theme editor. Without this, the author profile will not appear on your storefront even after applying an author.

1. Open "Blog posts" from the app menu

2. Select the article(s) you want to apply an author to (multiple selections allowed)

3. Click "Apply author"

4. Choose an author from the dropdown

5. Click "Apply"

1. Select the article(s) in "Blog posts"

2. Click "Remove author"

You can filter by blog name, publication status, and title, and sort by published date, updated date, and title.

• Only one author can be linked per blog post.

• Applying an author to a blog post will overwrite the article's existing author name.

• Removing an author from a blog post will not restore the overwritten author name. If you need to restore it, update the author name individually from "Content > Blog posts" in your Shopify Admin.
