When you apply an author from Products, the author profile appears on that product page. Each product can have one author.
Prerequisite: Displaying authors on products is available on the Regular plan.
In the theme editor, add the "Author Profiles" app block to the product template, or add an app embed on a vintage theme. If you do not add it, applying an author will not display the profile on the online store.

(1) Open Products
From Shopify admin, go to Apps and open "RuffRuff Author Profiles." Select "Products" from the app menu.
(2) Select the items
Select the items you want to set an author on. You can select multiple items.
(3) Apply an author
Select "Apply author," choose an author, then select "Apply author." If an author is already applied, it is replaced with the new author.
(1) Select the items
On "Products," select the items you want to remove the author from.
(2) Remove the author
Select "Remove author," then confirm with "Remove author."
On Products, you can filter by status (Active, Draft, Archived) and sort by created date, updated date, or title. You can search by title.
Each product can have one author. Applying a different author replaces the previous author.
