No. Deleting authors is not supported. If you reach the limit, edit an unused author and reuse it. The limit is 5 on Free, 15 on Light, and unlimited on Regular.

The Free plan allows 5, the Light plan allows 15, and the Regular plan is unlimited. When you reach the limit, you cannot select "Add author."

No. You apply an author to each blog post, product, or page. Automatic assignment with Shopify Flow or tags is not supported.

Can I assign an author from the Shopify blog post editor?

No. You cannot assign this app's author from the blog post editor in Shopify admin. Apply the author from "Blog posts" in the app.

Can I set multiple authors on one blog post, product, or page?

No. Each piece of content can have one author.

After I set an author on a blog post, the article author name changed. Can I revert it?

When you apply an author, the Shopify blog post author name is also updated to the same name. Removing the author does not revert the Shopify author name. To change it back, update the author name from Shopify admin → Content → Blog posts. Shopify author names on products and pages are not overwritten.

Yes. On the Regular plan, apply an author only to the products you want to display. Products without an author do not show the profile.

No. This app displays profiles on blog posts, products, and pages. It does not create an all-authors list page or dedicated author pages.

No. The app does not output structured data. The author type (Person / Organization) only controls whether you can enter a job title. It is not for structured data.

One. Each author can have one link URL and one link title.

If "Show link" is off on the Customize screen, the link is not displayed. On the Light plan and higher, turn it on, select "Save," then reload the target page.

No. Automatic translation is not supported. On the Light plan and higher, you can register a translation for each author.

No. Transparent background colors are not supported. To approximate transparency, set the same color as the destination theme background.

Upload the image in Shopify admin → Content → Files, then enter the displayed URL in the author's profile image.

No. You cannot insert images into the profile description. You can set an image only as the profile image URL.

Yes. When you use the Light or Regular plan, the branding is hidden automatically. No configuration is required.

No. You can keep using the Free plan unless you change to a paid plan.

No. The app uses app blocks or app embeds, so it does not add files to the theme or modify existing code.

Existing author data is not deleted. If you are over the limit, you cannot add new authors. Higher-plan features such as display on products and pages, author links, description formatting, and translation become unavailable.
